Kale Crisps

These easy to prepare vegetable crisps taste like the seaweed served in Chinese restaurants and are sure to have people oozing with delight!  Kale is abundant at this time of year and carries all the great properties of dark, leafy green vegetables, being rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.  Enjoy served as crisps as below or add to stir fry’s, soups and stews.

Wholefood HarmonyIngredients:
Kale
1-2 tablespoons Olive oil
Few dashes of Shoyu/ tamari
Pinch Sea salt
Handful sesame seeds
1 tablespoon rice syrup

Preparation:
Wash and shred the kale and remove any tough stems.  Place in a low baking dish or on an oven tray lined with baking parchment.  Combine the other ingredients and add to the kale, mixing well.  Place in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or until the kale becomes crispy.
