I’ve been enjoying this tender, sugar-free berry sauce on its own and accompaning other treats.

Ingredients:
handfull strawberries finely diced  (or other berries too)
1 tsp lem
on juice
3 tbs rice syrup
kuzu healing plant thickener
dash apple juice

Preparation:
Heat the apple juice in a pan, add the berries and tiny pinch sea salt.  Add the lemon juice and syrup and cook for a few minutes in a pan, add the berries and tiny pinch sea salt.  Add the lemon juice and syrup and cook for 2 minutes.  For a lovely texture and healing dessert, mix 1tbs kuzu with a dash cold water and add to the pan and stir for a further minute.  Enjoy warm or cold!
